countries and territories and in over 30 different languages. Last year there
were also broadcasters from 13 different countries calling the game live from
Cowboys stadium in Dallas Texas. In addition, our military men and women were
able to view the game in 132 different countries on the American Forces Network.
That is a lot of people throughout the world watching one event in a day’s
time. And with Super Bowl XLVI coming up in a few months to the city of
Indianapolis, for this city, it will be their first time to have the privilege
of hosting this world-wide major event and are counting down the days to which
they will be invaded by hundreds of thousands to their city as they continue to
gear up.
Some other cities like Indianapolis, that have also hosted this
major event only one time are; Jacksonville, Minneapolis, North Texas and
Stanford. Then you have cities that have hosted two (2) Super Bowls that
include; Houston, Detroit, Atlanta, and Arizona. Then we have those with over
two (2) that include; San Diego who has hosted three (3), Tampa Bay hosting four
(4), Los Angeles with seven (7), New Orleans nine (9) and South Florida with the
most hosted Super Bowls of ten (10). Then for our future Super Bowls sites that
include, once again, New Orleans in 2013, making them tied with South Florida at
ten (10) and New York/New Jersey in 2014 giving them their first hosted Super
Bowl just like Indianapolis.
